Should I start wearing a white coat when I do acupuncture treatments?

According to this study, patients are more comfortable w/ a practitioner who wears a white coat. What?!?! I thought that the white coat raised blood pressure. Read on ...

  1. I find that surprising also! I don't really want to wear one at my clinic but Marilyn Allen who co-wrote points for profit, came to our school and talked about the same study. She seemed very knowledgeable so I am inclined to wear a lab coat.

  2. NO, NO! White coats usually go along with harmful prescription medications and giant sized bills to make you more unhealthy. That is truly scary!
