Desire waning? Acupuncture works!

A recent study about treating sexual dysfunction in women with acupuncture showed good results. Sexual desire improved as identified by two instruments, the Sexual Interest and Desire Inventory–Female (p=0.01 for short- and long-term) and the desire subscale of the Female Sexual Function Index (short-term p=0.002 and long-term p=0.04). Acupuncture reduced anxiety in the short (p=0.03) and long term (p=0.01), reduced sexual dysfunction over the long-term (p=.03), improved urogenital symptoms over the short-term (p=.04) and somato-vegatative symptoms over the short (p=.01) and long-term (p=0.03).

Insurance billing: As a service to you, we find out whether or not your health insurance covers acupuncture and when it does we bill your insurance.  There are plans that cover it, some pay for unlimited visits.  Why not be healthier?  That's what the insurance company realizes - preventing surgeries, the use of expensive pain killers, and your having to have medical procedures saves them (and you!) money.  And even preventing the common cold saves your employer money.

Tea Tree blend: tea tree is an all purpose antiviral, anti fungal, antibacterial essential oil
Sweet basil blend: sweet basil is a stronger antiseptic than tea tree and it gives you the added benefit of boosting your immune system.
Bay blend: even stronger antiseptic, antiviral, anti fungal, antibacterial.
Rosemary blend: protects from the active flu virus (if you're around people who still come to work even though they have the flu this blend or my Warrior Blend are for you!)  Rosemary is a bit of a mental stimulator though so don't use this at bedtime.
Camphor blend: camphor is almost all ketone and super effective against active virus.  Never take camphor internally.
Eucalyptuses blend: includes more than one eucalyptus oil because all of the eucalyptuses protect against viruses and help clear the lungs.

You can use these blends in a water bottle spray (don't blend them with alcohol please, water only).
Use them in the bath where you can breathe them in via steam to improve your immunity.

Studies show that Laser "acupuncture" - no needles - successfully treats depression

I offer laser acupuncture in my practice so check this out.  Researchers have discovered that laser acupuncture significantly reduces depression symptoms. Laser acupuncture is the stimulation of acupuncture points with light instead of needles. Laser acupuncture uses low intensity laser beams and does not damage the skin, burn or cause discomfort. Laser acupuncture was applied to acupuncture points two times per week for four weeks and then one time per week for an additional four weeks. The study, conducted at the University of New South Wales, use strict protocols to ensure accurate results. The methodology ensured that the study was double-blinded, randomised and placebo controlled. All patients admitted to the study suffered from major depressive disorder. After three months, a follow-up investigation showed that the laser acupuncture group showed clinically significant improvements in depression recovery outcomes over the control group.
This is not the first modern study to show that acupuncture and Chinese medicine relieve depression. Another recent investigation finds that acupuncture effectively treats depression for patients undergoing treatment with the antidepressant paroxetine (Paxil, Sereupin, Aropax). The researchers discovered that both acupuncture and electroacupuncture improved “the quality of life in depressed patients undergoing paroxetine treatment.” Overall, the emphasis of this research showed that acupuncture treatments enhance and complement the beneficial effects of the pharmaceutical medication paroxetine for patients suffering from depression.

To better fit in to your budget, laser acupuncture treatments can be in 15 or 30 minute increments after an initial 45to 60 minute comprehensive appointment.
