Giving Cat Care Society a gift!

As a New Year's present I am giving the Cat Care Society in Lakewood a check for $395.  CCS is the benefactor of my annual December fundraising campaign. For a number of years my benefactor was the NICU at Rose Hospital where my premie grandson Jonathan received such excellent care at the beginning of his life. Now I have moved to another group who needs our help, cats who are looking for new permanent homes.  The CCS veterinarian clinic is where we just took our cat Annie for her checkup and dental work and it is a place to behold!  Wonderful calm cats greet you and your beloved cat when you arrive.  We felt that the medical care was outstanding and the staff absolutely loves cats.

Thank you to all of my patients who received treatments in December because you helped the amount grow while you helped your health. And a special thank you to those of you who added a little more to the pot!

Making a commitment (resolution) to take better care of your health?  Give me a call - I treat all manner of medical issues including but not limited to PMS and fertility challenges, emotional issues (depression, anxiety, grief), digestive issues, cosmetic improving (Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture), and building your immune system to avoid or shorten the flu season for you!

Insurance billing: As a service to you, we find out whether or not your health insurance covers acupuncture and when it does we bill your insurance.  There are plans that cover it, some pay for unlimited visits.  Why not be healthier?  That's what the insurance company realizes - preventing surgeries, the use of expensive pain killers, and your having to have medical procedures saves them (and you!) money.  Even preventing the common cold saves your employer money.

Neroli Peptide Eye Cream: natural care for the delicate skin around your eyes

Neroli Peptide Eye Cream: natural care for the delicate skin around your eyes

The most common issues we all want an eye cream to address are dark circles, loss of elasticity, and puffiness.  Neroli Peptide Eye Cream helps address discoloration and circulation with edelweiss and magnolia bark extract. Along with a blend of rice bran and soy proteins, it helps address dark circles and puffiness.  Fu ling extract assists in the restoration of luminosity, firmness, and hydration of the skin, and a tri peptide formula plus retinol helps restore elasticity.  Neroli’s beneficial effect on sensitive, dry, and mature skin has been well known among herbalists for ages. Key ingredients include Neroli hydrosol, grape seed oil, meadowfoam seed oil, sunflower oil, borage seed oil, evening primrose oil, eidelweiss extract, magnolia bark extract, frankincense, retinol, and fermented radish root.

GIVE THE GIFT OF BEAUTIFUL SKIN: MEI ZEN COSMETICS

GIVE THE GIFT OF BEAUTIFUL SKIN: MEI ZEN COSMETICS
We at Mei Zen Cosmetics are proud to offer natural, effective products.  We offer you a number of ways to improve your skin or just keep your healthy skin looking as beautiful as ever!
Today I'm featuring our Golden Radiance Pearl Cream --- pearl on your skin makes it look luminescent and bright.

Pearl has been used to beautify the skin for thousands of years.  Our pearl cream blends pearl powder with the herbalism of Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern, natural skin care ingredients to bring you a high-performing product formulated to enhance skin’s tone, clarity, and radiance. Golden Radiance Pearl Cream is designed to be especially useful to clients suffering from sun damage, hyper-pigmentation, and cuperouse skin conditions.  Its deep golden color comes from the Sea Buckthorn oil.  This oil is a precious commodity that is incomparable for its antioxidant qualities and its’ ability to rejuvenate the skin, reduce inflammation, and reduce the signs of premature aging.

We have chosen ingredients to assist in evening out skin tone, exfoliating and brightening the skin, supporting the skin’s moisture balance and elasticity, increasing the skin’s resistance from further continuing damage, and enhancing the overall radiance of the skin.  The lemon oil we use is distilled rather than cold-pressed so the problems of photo toxicity are eliminated, and its’ ability to aid in repairing discoloration and redness is able to shine.  Not only do we have pearl powder in our cream but we also nod to Oriental traditions in health and beauty by our inclusion of rice bran oil that is high in fatty acids and a natural anti-oxidant and Centella Asiatica (luei gong gen.)  Centella Asiatica is a powerful antioxidant and agent in skin regeneration, collagen production, and overall skin healing.
Chinese Medicine not only gets you healthy and helps you maintain your good health, it keeps your skin healthy.
