The awesomeness of Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture!
Wow! I was very moved by a movie about the Hubble Space Telescope, brought to tears actually about the vastness of space and what can be accomplished by the ingenuity of humans. The beauty and limitlessness of our world was …. well, it was tear jerking to me. Then, at the same time, I started to think about Chinese medicine medicine and the pure genius of it. Your practitioner feels people's life force when he/she looks at your pulses. We see your life energy flowing (or not) through the body, through the organ systems and we manipulate it! I felt so blessed to know how to do that and realized how limitless the possibilities are. It's one thing to make someone's back pain better but it's a whole other thing (and feeling for the practitioner) to discover a knot/tumor/cyst in the pulses, send the patient for an ultrasound or other test, and have helped discover a small cancer growing.
