Acupuncture and Parkison's disease

This is an interesting article that mentions the "temporary" effects of acupuncture on some of the symptoms of Parkinson's disease.  What's fascinating though is that they can tell that acupuncture affects the brain but don't go the next step toward how it can change your brain, your immune system, your reproductive system, etc. That's partly because it's just a blurb probably not written by a practitioner of Chinese Medicine so is not complete.  But it's a start and good information for people to know. Acupuncture affects the brain!

Insurance billing: As a service to you, we find out whether or not your health insurance covers acupuncture and when it does we bill your insurance.  There are plans that cover it, some pay for unlimited visits.  Why not be healthier?  That's what the insurance company realizes - preventing surgeries, the use of expensive pain killers, and your having to have medical procedures saves them (and you!) money.  And even preventing the common cold saves your employer money.
