Fad diets don't work. You may lose weight at first on one of these but they're next to impossible to maintain over time. Believe it or not, losing more than 3 pounds a week for very many weeks can cause gallstones. Ouch!

Grains make you fat. Not so - study what kind of grains you are eating. Even so, it will still get down to how much of everything you are eating. Replace refined grains with whole grains for a start.

90% improvement in chloasma (pregnancy mask)?! Acupuncture works for that.
And actually I have personal/professional experience that showed just that - a dramatic reduction in facial discoloration after about a dozen facial acupuncture treatments in a patient. This after a dermatologist told me that there is really nothing that they can do for that - so try acupuncture!
Studies on whether or not acupuncture helps clear up skin conditions show that acupuncture works significantly better than no treatment or other treatment options. Dermatitis was shown not to flare up as much. Episodes of hives (urticaria) were both fewer in number and lasted for shorter periods of time. And naturally, as you've heard already in the media - acupuncture has been shown to improve facial skin elasticity (read: reduce wrinkles, prevent wrinkles, help reduce sagging, make skin more buoyant, etc.)
